Job Overview
<p><span style="font-family: "Lucida Grande";">To manage gold loan credit related requirements for the assigned geography and ensure implementation of credit checks while customer onboarding and monitoring portfolio on an </span><span style="font-family: "Lucida Grande";">ongoing basis to minimise credit loss.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: "Lucida Grande";">1) Implementation of the defined Gold Loan Policy.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Lucida Grande";">2) Follow Regulatory requirements with respect to RBI guidelines.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Lucida Grande";">3) Visit the branches regularly to cross check the adherence of Valuation process, Gold Loan Policy, and act on any lapses.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Lucida Grande";">4) Responsible for evaluating and value the Gold as per Gold Standard and Bank policy guidelines.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Lucida Grande";">5) To assess the regional factors and recommend for collateral. Acceptance policy changes.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Lucida Grande";">6) Recommendation to Policy team for addition of any new jewellery items in the masters.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Lucida Grande";">7) Base customer selection on Analytic s and Credit Bureau history.Responsible to take informed decisions on big deals and try to close them with</span><span style="font-family: "Lucida Grande";">mitigants.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Lucida Grande";">8) Revisit underwriting processes to match the TAT of the industry.Base rejections with sound justification.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Lucida Grande";">9) Approve Sale of Gold in case of Auctions.</span></p><p><br></p> <p>Looking for candidates with 10 years plus experience in Gold loan credit with any banks or NBFCs, preferring candidates who handled a team for at-least 5+ years will be ideal for the role. We are looking at place this candidate either at Bangalore or Chennai. Proper GL credit experience is a must.</p>
