Job Overview
<p>Responsible for leading and overseeing the performance of multiple bank branches within an assigned geographic cluster. Drives business growth, profitability, customer acquisition, and service excellence while ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards. Provides strategic direction, coaching, and support to Branch Managers to achieve organizational objectives. Builds strong customer and stakeholder relationships to strengthen the bank's market presence and sustainable growth.</p> <p>Cluster Head – Branch Banking </p>
<p>1) Lead and manage multiple bank branches within the assigned cluster, ensuring achievement of business, revenue, and profitability targets.
2) Drive growth in liabilities, assets, retail banking products, and customer acquisition across all branches.
3) Monitor branch performance through regular reviews, ensuring adherence to KPIs, productivity benchmarks, and service standards.
4) Develop and mentor Branch Managers and frontline teams, fostering a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
5) Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, risk management frameworks, and audit standards.
6) Build strong relationships with key customers, local businesses, and stakeholders to enhance market presence and drive business expansion.</p> <p>The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in the banking industry, including at least 5 years of experience as a Branch Head. The candidate should have a proven track record of managing large-sized branches, preferably with leading banks, handling a business portfolio of ₹700 Crore or more. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, business acumen, and operational excellence. The preferred age limit for this role is up to 40 years.</p>
