Job Overview
<p>The bank's Credit Head leads all Retail Asset credit risk and lending operations. They set credit policies, manage loan portfolios, ensure regulatory compliance, and balance business growth with risk control to protect the bank from bad debts.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p>
<p>* Policy Design: Build and update credit underwriting rules, risk frameworks, and scoring models.
* Portfolio Control: Monitor asset quality, track non-performing assets (NPAs), and spot early warning signals.
* High-Value Approvals: Sanction or review major corporate, retail, or SME loan proposals above standard limits.
* Regulatory Adherence: Meet central bank rules, local laws, and corporate governance standards.
* Team Leadership: Guide credit analysts, risk managers, and regional underwriting heads.</p> <p>Looking for a Credit Head managing the Retail Asset process being in Banks or leading NBFC's. And with good exposure in handling the Gujarat & Rajasthan region</p>
