Scope of the Role
The Branch Manager will lead the branch operations of a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), responsible for driving loan sales, managing daily branch activities, ensuring credit quality, and maintaining healthy collections. The role involves complete accountability for business growth, profitability, and compliance at the branch level.
Job Description
- Drive branch-level sales for retail asset products such as MSME Loans, PersonalEquipment Loans, and Used Car Loans.
- Achieve monthly and annual disbursement, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Develop and execute local marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, DSAs, and channel partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and ensure quality sourcing.
- Manage and expand the DSA / Connector / Dealer network to increase business volume.
- Ensure partner onboarding, training, and performance monitoring.
- Drive partner engagement and ensure adherence to company policies and documentation standards.
- Oversee end-to-end branch operations to ensure smooth processing of loan applications.
- Ensure all documentation, KYC, and compliance requirements are met as per policy.
- Monitor and maintain TAT (Turn-Around Time) for all customer requests and disbursals.
- Coordinate with central operations and credit teams for timely case processing and disbursement.
- Ensure high-quality sourcing with minimal credit risk.
- Work closely with the credit team for appraisal and decision-making on loan proposals.
- Maintain healthy portfolio quality and ensure adherence to credit and risk policies.
- Identify and mitigate early warning signals in customer accounts.
- Drive collection efficiency and ensure reduction of delinquency and NPAs.
- Collaborate with the collections team to track overdue accounts and implement recovery strategies.
- Monitor portfolio performance and take corrective action where required.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the branch sales and operations team.
- Set clear performance goals and review progress regularly.
Ideal Candidates
total Experience: 3–6 yearsRetail Lending / NBFC / Banking.
Relevant Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years in branch management or team leadership within retail assets.
Proven track record in MSME Loans, LAP, Equipment Loans, Vehicle Loans, or Personal Loans.
Experience handling P&L responsibilities, branch operations, credit, and collections.
Exposure to channel management (DSAs, connectors, dealers) and direct customer acquisition.
