Key Responsibilities & KRAs
* Legal / Regulatory compliance. * Providing legal opinions on various matters and mitigating legal risks. * Drafting, vetting, and negotiating agreements, contracts, deeds, Loan Agreements, and vendor / service provider agreements etc. * Responsible for vetting Title Scrutiny Reports prepared by panel advocates and advising business verticals on the acceptability of titles of immovable properties offered as security * Coordinating/liaising with empanelled advocates. * Drafting and vetting notices, complaints, replies to notices etc. and liaising with statutory and regulatory entities on legal issues. * Handling Suits/ Cases filed by/against Bank through coordination with panel advocates, follow-ups, and court visits as required. * Handling any other legal matters. * Staying updated on legal/regulatory developments and sharing relevant knowledge with other verticals and undertaking any other legal work or responsibilities assigned by the Bank from time to time.
Ideal Candidates
Looking for Legal Officers with a deep understanding of Banking Regulations, the Contract Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, crisis management, and the ability to negotiate with defaulting clients.
