The Private Banking Market head is responsible for leading and developing a team of Private Bankers to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets. The role involves managing and deepening relationships with HNI and UHNI clients by delivering tailored wealth management and banking solutions. The incumbent is expected to enhance portfolio profitability through client acquisition, retention, and cross-selling of investment and lending products.
Job Description
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Private Bankers to achieve business, revenue, and relationship management objectives.
1) Acquire, manage, and deepen relationships with HNI and UHNI clients by providing customised wealth and banking solutions.
2) Drive growth in Assets Under Management (AUM), liabilities, investments, and fee-based income through effective portfolio management.
3) Monitor team performance, set sales targets, and ensure achievement of key business and profitability metrics.
4) Collaborate with product specialists and internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions to clients.
5) Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, risk policies, and operational standards while maintaining exceptional client service.
Ideal Candidates
The ideal candidate will possess 15+ years of experience in Wealth Management, with deep expertise in Private Banking and comprehensive wealth solutions for HNI and UHNI clients. The individual should have a strong track record of driving business growth, managing client portfolios, and delivering superior client outcomes. A minimum of 4+ years of team leadership experience is mandatory, with demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and leading high-performing wealth management teams. Strong relationship management, business development, and leadership capabilities are essential for this role.
