Product Development / Process Improvement
Development of new product after liaising with stakeholders Working on redesigning or reengineering existing processes to improve TAT Benchmarking our offerings with best market practices Training / Portfolio Monitoring
Conducting training programs/knowledge sharing sessions Analysis of portfolio data and provide inputs to Sales team on regular basis Monitoring market developments in Trade finance and take initiatives to align our offerings
Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Development: Define product roadmap, analyze market trends, design new features (e.g., digital platforms, blockchain), and customize solutions for clients. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Sales, Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams for smooth product delivery, implementation, and support. Digital Transformation: Lead digitization initiatives, enhance user experience, and integrate new technologies (AI, DLT) for seamless digital trade. Business & Financial Management: Own product P&L, manage pricing, monitor performance, and drive revenue generation. Client & Market Engagement: Support sales teams, provide product training, handle complex client queries, and stay updated on regulations. Risk & Compliance: Ensure products meet regulatory standards (e.g., UCP 600, ISBP) and incorporate risk mitigation strategies.
Core Products Managed: Letters of Credit (LCs) & Guarantees (BGs) Documentary Collections (Imports/Exports) Remittances Pre- & Post-Shipment Finance Supply Chain Finance (Receivables/Payables Finance) Structured Trade & Structured Finance
Key Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of trade finance products, regulations (e.g., URR, URC), and global standards. Data analysis, business acumen, and project management. Ability to drive digital innovation and understand new technologies. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
