Scope of the Role
IFA is responsible for driving business growth through the Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) channel by acquiring, managing, and expanding relationships with IFAs, Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs), and financial intermediaries. The role focuses on increasing Assets Under Management (AUM), driving product sales, and achieving business targets within the assigned territory.
Job Description
Acquire and onboard new Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) and Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs). Build and maintain strong relationships with existing IFA partners to drive business growth. Promote Motilal Oswal's wealth management and investment products, including Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Bonds, and other investment solutions. Conduct regular meetings, training sessions, and product presentations for IFAs. Support IFA partners in client acquisition, investment advisory, and portfolio development. Identify new business opportunities and expand the channel network within the assigned territory. Monitor sales performance, AUM growth, and revenue generation across the IFA channel. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, operational support, and partner servicing. Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments.
Ideal Candidates
Looking for candidate with 3 - 8 years of experience in Mutual Funds, Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Channel Sales. Experience in managing the IFA/MFD channel is preferred.
