Being the Zonal Head for Current Accounts, you are to head AP, Telangana & Kolkata. You are to lead the business strategies & manage the team to ensure financial growth and operations excellence across the States.
Job Description
* Overseeing three states is a senior-level position focusing on liability generation, portfolio profitability, and strategic relationship management across a large geographic area. * This role typically involves driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and managing regional teams to achieve targets for CA value & numbers, SA value & numbers, FD value, TradeForex, TASC, and Corporate liabilities.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to acquire new Current Accounts (Corporate, SME, and HNI) and expand market share across the three assigned states.
P&L Ownership: Manage the Profit & Loss for the CA portfolio in the region, ensuring profitable growth, optimizing cost ratios, and driving revenue through fees and non-interest income.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with large/mid-corporate clients, key stakeholders, and high-net-worth individuals.
Team Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of Area Heads, Regional Sales Managers, and Relationship Managers to meet sales and service targets.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to RBI guidelines, KYC/AML norms, and internal bank policies to minimize operational risks.
Operational Excellence: Oversee operational activities within the zone, monitor branch-level performance, and ensure efficient service delivery.
Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regional business potential to identify growth opportunities.
