Scope of the Role
This National Sales Head is responsible for driving PAN India home loan business through DSAs, connectors and real estate developer partnerships, requiring a strong DSA network, builder relationship management, team leadership, and builder-connector sourcing strategies to achieve targets while ensuring compliance and market analysis. The role involves building developer networks, generating leads, managing sales teams, collaborating internally, and ensuring smooth loan processing for maximum business growth in the competitive housing finance market.
Job Description
Job Context & Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth & P&L: Define and implement the national sales strategy for the DSA & Builder channel to meet top and bottom-line targets. Identify and expand into high-potential new geographies across India.
- DSA & Builder Tie-ups & Relationship Management: Lead the identification, onboarding, and management of key relationships with Tier-1 and select Tier-2 DSAs, builders/developers nationwide.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multi-layered pan-India sales team, including Zonal, Regional and Relationship Managers. Oversee recruitment and training to ensure high productivity.
- Channel Performance: Own national sales targets, monitor critical metrics such as lead-to-login-to-sanction-to-disbursement conversion rates, and disbursement turnaround time (TAT).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Credit, Risk, and Legal teams to streamline project approvals (APF - Approved Project Finance) and ensure smooth file processing.
- Market Intelligence: Analyse national and regional real estate trends and competitor activities to refine pricing, and product, campaigns, and promotional offerings.
- Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to internal bank policies, audit norms, and regulatory guidelines
Ideal Candidates
- Looking for a veteran Home Loans or Mortgage Loans Sales Leader who manages Pan-India or a Zonal or large regions.
- Network: Extensive existing network with leading real estate developers and construction firms across India/major cities.
- Skills: Expertise in sales strategy development, negotiation, P&L management, and large-scale team leadership; Strong understanding of the nuances of Home Loan/Mortgages business; Should be digital/tech savvy.
- Travel: Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the country to maintain key DSA & builder relationships.
