Scope of the Role

The Zonal Head will be responsible for driving the revenue, Assets Under Management (AUM), and strategic growth of the wealth management business of South & West India being in Bangalore. This role typically involves overseeing branch-banking synergies, managing high-net-worth (HNI/UHNI) client relationships, and leading a team of Cluster Heads and their Wealth RM.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

P&L and Business Ownership: Take complete ownership of the Zonal Wealth Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring delivery against revenue plans, fee income targets, and AUM expansion.

Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and build a high-performing team of Relationship Managers (RMs), Team Leaders, and Investment Counsellors. Branch-Wealth Synergy: Partner with Branch Banking leadership to drive cross-selling of wealth products (Mutual Funds, Insurance, PMS, Bonds) and increase wallet share.

Client Acquisition & Retention: Actively manage and acquire HNI/UHNI clients, conducting high-ticket deal closures and client engagement initiatives.

Strategic Planning: Develop region-specific business strategies, including market expansion and new branch opportunities.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure 100% adherence to regulatory guidelines (SEBI, RBI), internal policies, and documentation standards.

Product Penetration: Drive Loans Against Securities (LAS) as a revenue driver and promote specialized investment solutions.
