Scope of the Role
An Investment Counsellor advises High Net Worth (HNI) and affluent clients on investment opportunities, helping them build and manage diversified portfolios. The role focuses on providing expert investment guidance, supporting Relationship Managers, and driving investment product penetration while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Job Description
- Provide investment advisory on Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Bonds, Structured Products, Insurance, and other wealth solutions.
- Review client portfolios and recommend suitable investment strategies based on financial goals and risk profile.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to acquire, retain, and grow HNI/UHNI client relationships.
- Conduct portfolio reviews, investment presentations, and market update sessions.
- Monitor financial markets and identify investment opportunities for clients.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI, RBI, and internal investment advisory guidelines.
- Achieve investment revenue, AUM growth, and product penetration targets.
Ideal Candidates
Strong Knowledge of financial markets and investment products , Excellent client advisory and relationship management skills. Candidate who are NISM V A and PMS certified. Preferring candidates working as Investment counsellors ( Wealth Specialist ) with Banks or candidates with good expericne as Relationship Managers from AMcs, RMs from Wealth Management boutique firms , Private Bankers from Banks also can be considered for the role.
