Scope of the Role
The Sales Manager – Life Insurance (Bancassurance – Open Architecture) will be responsible for driving life insurance business through banking partners under the Open Architecture model. The role focuses on strengthening relationships with partner bank branches, increasing insurance penetration, achieving sales targets, and delivering exceptional customer experience.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities Drive life insurance sales through an Open Architecture distribution model. Build, develop, and manage relationships with banking and channel partners to generate business. Recruit, train, coach, and motivate advisors and partner sales teams to achieve business targets. Identify customer financial protection and investment needs and recommend suitable life insurance solutions. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets. Conduct joint sales calls with partner representatives to improve conversion rates. Ensure high standards of customer service and maintain long-term client relationships. Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and implement performance improvement plans where required. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, company policies, and documentation requirements. Coordinate with underwriting, operations, and customer service teams for smooth policy issuance and post-sales support. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities to expand market share. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.
Ideal Candidates
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented sales professional with a strong background in Life Insurance, Bancassurance, Banking, or Financial Services. The ideal candidate should possess excellent relationship management skills and be capable of driving business through banking partners 3–8 years of experience in Life Insurance/Bancassurance/Banking Sales. Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred). Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Experience in managing bank branches and developing channel partnerships. Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
