Scope of the Role
An Agency Manager (or Agency Growth Manager) is responsible for driving sales and expanding the company's business through the agency channel. Key duties include recruiting, training, and managing a team of Insurance Advisors, prospecting new clients, and consistently achieving monthly branch or regional sales targets.
Job Description
1. Recruitment & Team BuildingSourcing Talent: Actively prospect, identify, and select high-quality Agency Leaders and Insurance Advisors.Team Development: Build and maintain a robust hierarchy of motivated agents through continuous training and development. 2. Sales Management & MentorshipTarget Achievement: Plan and implement month-over-month sales targets by setting individual goals for each advisor based on their potential.On-the-Job Coaching: Conduct joint field sales calls, provide feedback, and run mock presentations to help the team close deals and achieve MDRT-level metrics.Customer Acquisition: Meet directly with potential customers, analyze their financial and insurance needs, and close sales. 3. Business Operations & ComplianceData Analysis: Use company reports and MIS data to inform business decisions and track team performance.Policy Issuance & Compliance: Ensure smooth sales completion by facilitating medical reports, verifying documentation, and strictly adhering to company and IRDAI sales processes
Ideal Candidates
Eligibility: Minimum 1 year of sales experience in BFSI. Candidates with any sales background can also be considered.
