Scope of the Role
A Zonal Head for Trade and Forex is a senior banking role responsible for managing international trade finance, foreign exchange (forex) transactions, compliance, and revenue growth in South India. Developing business strategies & managing the team to ensure financial growth and operational excellence across the South Zonal. Responsible for managing and overseeing the Cluster Heads and their RM's / PSM's who will be responsible for managing the SME & Wholesale segment of customers.
Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Business Growth: Drive foreign exchange income and trade finance volumes (such as Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and remittances) across regional bank branches.
Client Solutions: Offer structured financial solutions and currency risk management to corporate and retail clients.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all trade and forex operations strictly adhere to central bank regulations (such as RBI guidelines in India) and internal risk frameworks.
Team Leadership: Manage regional sales managers, relationship teams, and branch networks to improve productivity and service delivery.
Ideal Candidates
The applicant must have significant experience in Trade and Forex by leading at least a State. The candidate must hold a quality vintage with the current organisation.
