Scope of the Role
As Cluster Head | Current Account - Trade & Forex, you will be responsible for executing current account business strategy for the region through in depth engagement with branch/cluster/regional/zonal level leaders, thereby taking complete ownership of building a sustainable CA business for the region. He should be able to provide the necessary product support as required by the field team to deliver on defined objective of building a sustainable CA AMB book for his assigned geography.
Job Description
- ▪ Accountable for building the overall CA book for the region
- ▪ Drive the solution based CA hook strategy by providing necessary support to the filed in cross selling
- CMS, TFX, POS, Business Banking thereby ensuring sustainable CA AMB growth
- ▪ Tracks teams productivity across parameters and monitors daily business movement
- ▪ Responsible to maintain the quality of CA business in line with the stated organization and
- regulatory objectives
- ▪ Actively engage with branch leadership and drive the SME branch agenda under his assigned
- geography
- ▪ Catchment and market making and help build product features to suit market requirements.
- Responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase current account trade and forex business.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to promote current account trade and forex services.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities and pricing strategies.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase customer loyalty and retention.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of current account trade and forex products and services.
- Provide training and support to staff on current account trade and forex products and services.
- ▪ Should have the ability to effectively engage with cluster/regional/zonal management and
- articulate/present the progress on defined business objectives
- ▪ Should work smartly to manage his relationships with multiple layers across branches/clusters and
- other product support groups.
- ▪ Handling internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate good Interpersonal skills to
- facilitate stakeholder support on all processes/system alignment
- ▪ Individual with a go-getter attitude, should be able to work independently by collaborating with
- multiple business groups in driving bank's CA business strategy.
- ▪ Implement the risk policies and processes and ensure that existing business meets the stipulated
- regulatory guidelines
- ▪ Highlights any untoward customer issues and helps correct the process wherever required
- ▪ Should continuously monitor the sourcing quality and bring forth any anomalies across any markets
- under his assigned geography.
Ideal Candidates
The ideal candidate should be a Banker with excellent knowledge in all the Current Account services like Trade Forex, CMS, POS, Business Banking etc. Candidates should also have a good understanding about the assigned region.
