Scope of the Role
The Insurance Asset Business Sales Head will lead and manage the asset-side insurance sales portfolio for Life, Health, and General Insurance across channels. The role is responsible for designing sales strategies, driving revenue targets, managing channel performance, and enabling regional/zonal teams through structured sales interventions. This is a high-impact leadership position requiring strong distribution expertise, relationship management, and deep knowledge of insurance asset products.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy • Develop and implement sales strategies for all insurance categories. • Drive monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets across PRMs, RMs, zonal and regional teams. • Lead channel activation plans and improve productivity across branches.
Business Growth & Portfolio Management • Monitor product mix, channel productivity, and revenue contribution. • Identify growth opportunities through cross-sell, up-sell, and campaign design. • Lead performance reviews with regional and zonal leadership teams.
Team & Channel Enablement • Mentor and support sales teams, providing product knowledge and market insights. • Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and joint field activities. • Strengthen collaboration between sales, operations, product teams, and insurer partners.
Stakeholder & Partner Management • Work closely with insurer partners to plan joint business initiatives.https://www.imatesconsultants.com/dashboard • Manage escalations, track service issues, and ensure strong partner engagement.
Reporting & Compliance • Review sales dashboards, pipeline reports, and business analytics. • Ensure adherence to compliance, IRDAI guidelines, and audit processes.
Ideal Candidates
The Candidates must have good experience in handle a bank's Insurance Business through Retail/SME/Wholesale Asset channel. Experience in managing multi-channel distribution teams is mandatory.
