Scope of the Role
Product Manager should revamp our mobile banking platform. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the app—from ideation and feature design to development, launch, and ongoing optimization. Should liaise with internal and external stakeholders and manage end-to-end product flows on the platform.
Job Description
• Feature Delivery Timeliness: Ensure all planned features are delivered within the specified timeline, adhering to the release schedule.
• Customer Satisfaction Metrics: Monitor end-user satisfaction scores post-release to ensure innovative features enhance customer experience.
• Backlog Management: Regularly groom the backlog to prioritize high-impact features aligned with strategic goals.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Successfully manage stakeholder expectations by providing timely updates and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Risk Mitigation: Identify, document, and mitigate risks throughout the product lifecycle, minimizing disruptions.
• Compliance Adherence: Guarantee all features comply with regulatory standards, industry benchmarks, and organizational policies.
• Feature Performance Analysis: Track KPIs for newly launched features, such as usage statistics, conversion rates, and customer feedback, implementing improvements as needed.
• Documentation Quality: Ensure the creation and validation of comprehensive Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and Project Request Forms (PRF).
• Revenue Generation: Develop robust business cases for features with detailed revenue projections and strategic impact.
• Testing and Rollout Efficiency: Conduct thorough feature testing and provide sign-offs while ensuring smooth rollout plans and effective communication strategies.
• Competitor Benchmarking: Regularly analyze competitor offerings to incorporate best practices and maintain market leadership.
• Team Collaboration: Foster effective coordination across cross- functional teams to achieve project milestones and drive innovation.
• Training and Support: Develop and implement training programs to equip support teams for new feature rollouts.
Ideal Candidates
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital product management, customer-centric design, and mobile technologies, particularly in the fintech, banking, or e-commerce sectors.
Skill set required:
• Possess a Postgraduate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Have an understanding of retail banking products and mobile banking trends, with 3-5 years of relevant domain experience.
• Proficiency in creating Functional spec documents for digital products.
• Exhibit knowledge of user experience (UX) principles.
• Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis for decision-making.
• Showcase verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Capability to collaborate with technical teams on app development and system integration.
• Knowledge in using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project).
