Relationship Manager | Wholesale Banking / Institutional Clients | A Leading Bank

Scope of the Role

As a wholesale banking RM, you will be responsible for deepening & acquiring/sourcing clients by engaging with some of the Indian & Global sponsors. Evaluating the risk with working capital solutions, ensuring that both clients and bank's risk tolerance. Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions & regulatory changes that impact client's working capital needs. Actively seek opportunities to expand the banks working capital portfolio by acquiring new clients & promoting relevant financial products.

Job Description

1) Sourcing/acquiring and deepening relationships with financial sponsors including private equity funds, venture capital funds and other similar sponsor groups (i.e pension funds & sovereign wealth funds). 2) Work closely with investment banking team and across various sector to originate, structure & execute transactions aimed at the investees of funds. 3) Co-ordination with various internal support functions team like product team (treasury, CMS/trade, etc), operations, credit, technology team, audit team, compliance team. 4) Cross sell other banking products (treasury, CMS, corporate cards, digital banking solutions, debt financing products, salary). 5) Achieve business targets by assets growth, liability growth, fee income, cross sell metrics. 6) Ensure adherence to banks documentation requirements for credit management/ security creation etc. as stipulated by credit/ legal/ compliance/ credit/ admin departments.

Ideal Candidates

Looking for candidates having excellent communication and interpersonal skills with minimum 5 years experience handling wholesale banking clients, startup funding, venture capital funding and related banking solutions with strong financial and credit analysis skills.
