Scope of the Role

A Merchant Acquiring Sales Manager job typically involves leading a sales team through retail branch banking channel to acquire new merchants and grow existing relationships , focusing on point of sales (POS) solutions and payment processing. While ensuring compliance and driving business growth.  

Job Description

 

1)     Acquire new POS clients for the bank by generating leads from the retail branch branches.

2)     Recruit, train and develop a unit of sales officers to acquire the business.

3)     Sales manager will be responsible for the number of machines sold , revenue generated and lability volume generation from the clients.

4)     Managing the existing POS relationships and increase the wallet share.

5)     Identify the cross sell opportunities for retail asset products of the bank.

6)     Create and maintain healthy connect with the current account team of the bank, make them activate for POS Product.

7)     Maintain proper MIS of the entire business unit. 

 

Ideal Candidates

Ideal candidate should be some one with 4 to 6 years of solid experience with channel sales, Preferably from telecom, banking, insurance ..etc. if they handle a sales unit for an year will be an added advantage.
