Scope of the Role

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to day operations of a retail store. This includes managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting sales goals, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring the store runs efficiently and profitably.

Job Description

1) Hire, train, supervise, and schedule store staff. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.

2) Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.

3) Meet or exceed sales targets. Analyze sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly to drive revenue.

4) Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory control. Ensure the store is well-stocked and merchandise is displayed effectively.

5) Oversee daily operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

6) Prepare sales reports, track KPIs, and present performance data to senior management. Ensure the store complies with all safety, security, and cleanliness standards.

Ideal Candidates

3 to 5+ years of experience in retail, with at least1 to 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and managing store operations successfully.
