Scope of the Role
The Trade PSM shall work towards establishing & rolling out Trade Products & Trade Solutions for clients across all business segments. Structuring of complex trade deals. Co-ordination with the Wholesale & Corporate banking RMs to achieve the targeted revenue from Trade products.
Job Description
• Thorough knowledge about various Trade products
• Work towards establishing & rolling out Trade Products & Trade Solutions for clients across all business segments
• Structuring of complex trade deals
• Pricing support for packaged products and structured deals
• To provide information on new market developments on various products and services including compilation of information on banking industry, market conditions, information to determine potential sales of a product or service, information on prices, sales and methods of marketing and distribution & etc.
• Promote awareness of Trade products, propositions, strategies and initiatives and provide technical training to the sales teams
• Keep updated on the regulatory developments and ensuring necessary changes are made in the products
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders such as Industry Bodies, Regulators and Consultants
Regulatory / Compliance
• Maintain a robust and efficient control environment to ensure compliance with the Bank’s policy and procedures, together with early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise
Business Development
• Co-ordination with RMs pertaining to different verticals and achieve the targeted revenue from Trade products
• Collaboration with the RMs to work out the account plans for large corporates
• Meeting with large corporates for selling of the products
• Provide advice to customers with regard to trade deals.
• Conduct regular training sessions for the RMs
• Generate periodical MIS and monitor the progress with the RMs and business heads for respective segments against the agreed goals
• Assist RMs in concluding large deals including structuring and pricing
• Monitor the limit utilisation and guide the RMs to ensure maximum utilisation of limits
• Collaboration with other departments like Treasury, Transaction Banking, etc. for providing leads on potential cross selling of products
• Achieve the product level volume and revenue targets specified
