Scope of the Role

The Trade Sales Manager is responsible in handling the branch channel in the assigned region to ensure the development of Trade & Forex Business and to manage the existing customers.

Job Description

AreaTasksStrategic / Managerial- Drive growth of Retail Trade & Forex business in assigned geography / branches. 
- Maximize revenue & customer base especially in focus segments (e.g. EXIM, Travel & Tourism). 
- Identify, map opportunity segments & catchments; tailor product/pricing to these. Core Sales / Growth Execution- Joint visits with Branch Relationship Managers to customers, deepening relationships. 
- Monitor key accounts for revenue & value growth, cross‐sell opportunities. 
- Earmark and regularly visit high-potential branches, ensure attention to branches that can contribute more. Product / Process / Policy- Structure and launch / improve Trade & Forex products and processes. Ensure pricing, product features match market / customer needs. 
- Reduce bottlenecks, improve turnaround time (TAT), possibly automate processes. 
- Work on regulatory & compliance aspects, documentation and process hygiene. Stakeholder & Team Management- Collaborate with branches, local leadership, sales channels. 
- Train/support branch staff / new resources on product features, sales process etc. 
- Provide feedback to Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance & other internal teams. 
- Measure performance (revenues, accounts, penetration etc.), monitor gaps, corrective action. 

Ideal Candidates

Looking for candidates with deep knowledge of Trade Finance and Forex Products & Processes (EXIM, LCs, Forwards, etc.).
