Scope of the Role
A Wealth Specialist is the technical "brain" behind high-value investment conversations. In a bank, they act as the bridge between complex market research and the Relationship Manager (RM) who owns the client relationship.
Job Description
•Review and analyze clients’ existing portfolios to ensure alignment with risk profile, investment horizon, and changing market conditions. • Support branch teams in conducting structured portfolio reviews and investment discussions with clients. • Recommend portfolio rebalancing and tactical investment actions in line with market outlook and approved bank investment frameworks • Drive sustainable AUM growth through structured advisory, portfolio activation, and deepening of existing client relationships. • Support cross-sell and up-sell of approved wealth and investment products, ensuring suitability and long-term value creation. • Identify dormant or under-invested client portfolios and work with RMs to improve engagement and investment penetration. • Contribute to revenue growth while maintaining strong advisory quality metrics. • Partner closely with branch and PBG RMs, VRMs, and branch teams to strengthen investment conversations and client engagement. • Support RMs in client acquisition, relationship deepening, and wallet share enhancement through robust investment solutioning.
Ideal Candidates
5+ years of experience across Wealth Management firms, AMCs, or Banking, the "Ideal Candidate" isn't just a salesperson—they are a seasoned Investment Strategist.
