Scope of the Role
As the Head of Kerala & TamilNadu you are responsible for leading business strategies & managing the team to ensure financial growth and operational excellence across both states. Responsible for managing and overseeing the Cluster Heads to develop market-specific initiatives, manage the key relationships and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic leadership: Develop and execute a regional business strategy that aligns with the bank's overall objectives, with a focus on growth in both Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
- Team management: Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the team, including Branch Managers and Business Development Officers, to achieve performance targets.
- Financial performance: Ensure the achievement of key financial goals, such as deposit and loan growth, and maintain the profitability of the branches in the region.
- Market development: Identify new business opportunities, implement market expansion initiatives, and ensure the bank is competitive within the dynamic Kerala and Tamil Nadu markets.
- Client relations: Manage and build relationships with large and mid-corporate clients, and oversee high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client solutions.
- Operational oversight: Ensure operational soundness and compliance with all regulatory requirements across the region.
- Risk and compliance: Monitor and manage risks, and ensure adherence to all bank policies and external regulations in both states.
