Scope of the Role
As the Audit Team Leader for Credit Card Operations you will have to lead a team of Card Operations Auditors ensuring compliance and efficiency in our credit card processes. Prepare the Audit rosters and mentor the Auditor in conducting branch audits, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions and make a positive impact on the Credit Card operations at the branch level.
Job Description
- Responsible for leading a team of auditors in the credit card operations department of a leading bank.
- 2. Develop and implement audit plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- 3. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of improvement in processes and controls.
- 4. Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to gather information and conduct interviews for audit purposes. 5. Review and analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- 6. Train and mentor team members to ensure high-quality audit work and professional development.
- 7. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and provide regular updates on the status of audits.
- 8. Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- 9. Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations to ensure audit processes are up-to-date.
- 10. Monitor and track corrective actions taken by management in response to audit findings.
- 11. Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board of directors on the results of audits.
- 12. Maintain a strong understanding of the bank's credit card operations and provide guidance to team members on complex issues.
