Scope of the Role

As a Senior Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving sales and manage a unit of sales team for sourcing current accounts and savings account, Cross sell of other financial products and responsible for generating both accounts and funds.

Job Description

  1. Responsible for managing and leading a team of sales professionals in the branch banking division of a leading bank.
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets. 
  3. Oversee the sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and maintaining customer relationships. 
  4. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. 
  5. Train and mentor sales team members to enhance their skills and performance. 
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer service.
  7. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement.
  8. Develop and manage budgets for the sales team, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  9. Report to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics.

Ideal Candidates

Candidate from Banking/Securities/Mutual Funds Sales who will be able to work independently and also Manage a team. Candidate should have a good understanding of banking products and services, and be able to identify customer needs and provide solutions
