Scope of the Role
As a Senior Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving sales and manage a unit of sales team for sourcing current accounts and savings account, Cross sell of other financial products and responsible for generating both accounts and funds.
Job Description
- Responsible for managing and leading a team of sales professionals in the branch banking division of a leading bank.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Oversee the sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and maintaining customer relationships.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Train and mentor sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer service.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets for the sales team, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Report to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics.
